  • LocalXpose is a peer-to-peer reverse proxy platform. It can be used to make your localhost services visible to the web by forwarding port requests in blocked, distributed nodes.

    Available as a command-line tool for Windows, Linux and MacOS, the utility can be used to securely share important information with clients, family or friends using just an IP address and port.

    To be able to get it up and running on Windows, you just have to open a console window and type "BlockedNode_Win32 -l string -r string" or "BlockedNode_Win64 -l string -r string" (depending on your processor's architecture type), where "-l string" stands for the local IP address and port number (default is 127:0.0.1:8080) and "-r string" is reserved for the remote address and IP number (default is demo.localxpose.io:54536").

    If you call the app's name without any arguments, it will simply run in default mode to demonstrate how it works. It reveals your new public interface generated by the master nodes (the remote address), along with your local address that it's forwarding.

    LocalXpose keeps this line open to allow you to carry on with your other desktop activities, so it can be minimized to the taskbar to get out of your way.
