    The installation procedure takes minimal time and effort. Once an iPhone is plugged into the PC, the tool populates the clean and intuitive main frame with all identified files, letting you select the ones you want to export. Buttons for selecting and deselecting all items are available.

    Audio and video information includes the name, duration, size, artist, album and genre for each track, while SMS details show the sender number, date and content. Data can be filtered by genre, artist or album. Theoretically, audio and video files can be played before exporting them, but this feature did not work in our evaluation (on 64-bit Windows 8.1 Pro with iPhone 4).

    It is possible to add tracks to a playlist, remove them from the iPhone, as well as to point out a saving directory when exporting the files locally. Messages are saved to plain text documents. However, they are not well delimited in the files, making it difficult to read them.

    Unfortunately, Joboshare iPhone SMS Transfer failed to locate all existing iPhone messages in our evaluation, and it is not built to associate sender numbers with contact information to directly display the sender name.
