    The approach that HD Stamp Organizer relies on is that of a simplistic database, whose maintenance is not complicated. An unlimited number of records can be added to an existing inventory, which is organized alphabetically and can be navigated easily using controls such as ‘First’, ‘Previous’, ‘Next’ and ‘Last’.

    An extended overview can be accessed using the ‘Show All’ button, while deleting records is also made possible through a dedicated button. The fields that define a record are customizable, although there’s no possibility to remove them.

    A record can be personalized by assigning various attributes to it such as issue and purchase date, country of origin, face value, cost and sell price, condition, grade, perforation, gum and so on.

    For each of the stamps, you can add up to four pictures, although we encountered a bit of a situation when trying to attach graphics to a record. We couldn’t tell which picture formats are compatible with the software and while selecting a photo in ICO format we received an error.

    Even after shutting down the software and re-launching it, we still got the same error for that particular record and the only way we could find to overcome it was to delete the record altogether.

    Other than that, the software behaved decently and acted friendly on the system resources. The general conclusion builds up on its ease of use and on its plethora of features that is sufficient to please the average philatelist.
