    For each file type Free File Opener comprises a set of configurable options. For example, when it comes to images, you can change the angle, apply a grayscale, sepia or negative effect, as well as switch to fullscreen mode or convert the format into something else (e.g. BMP, JPEG, TGA, TIFF).

    When it comes to multimedia options, you can customize the background, label and error label colors, disable the automatic playback of media items, as well as save the search history and recent files list, among others.

    The application requires a pretty high quantity of CPU and RAM to work properly. It has a good response time and works well.
